Anglican Priest & Visionary pioneer
The Reverend Dr. Moses ‘Kunle Sowale, a lifelong Anglican raised in the seminary environment of Immanuel College of Theology in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, has deep roots in the church. His eldest brother, the Rev. Dr. Samuel Sowale (now Bishop Sowale), played a pivotal role in his early formation as a spiritual leader. Dr. Sowale was ordained into the diaconate in June 2002 and into the priesthood in July 2003. He is a distinguished preacher and speaker, having presented at local, national, and international events covering a wide range of subjects.
In Nigeria, he began his ministry at Bishop Akinyele Memorial Anglican Church in Iwo Road, Ibadan (2002-2005), followed by St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Yemetu, Ibadan (2005-2007), where he served as curate and youth chaplain.
In USA, From 2007 to 2009, Rev. Sowale was an associate priest and a high school Sunday school teacher at All Saint’s Parish, Brookline.
In 2010, Rev. Sowale took on the roles of missionary and evangelist at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brockton, where he pioneered a new congregation, Grace Chapel (Episcopal/Anglican Church). As the missioner at Grace Chapel, he established the Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade Brockton, an outreach program aimed at youth, and the Abigail’s Project, a supportive initiative for women.

Grace Chapel Episcopal/Anglican Church, Brockton
Rev. Moses pioneered Grace Chapel, multicultural congregation grounded in Anglican/Episcopal traditions. The community includes people from diverse backgrounds—liberals, conservatives, citizens, immigrants, Anglicans, Episcopalians, Pentecostals, and Evangelicals—united in navigating the complexities of modern life.
They seek to embody the qualities of Christ as both the lion and the lamb, breaking down barriers and celebrating the uniqueness of each individual in Christ.
The Brigade Youth Program, Brockton
A Christian youth initiative that originated in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1883, founded by Sir William Alexander Smith and brought to Brockton by Dr. Sowale.
This program aims to advance Christ's kingdom among boys and girls while promoting virtues such as obedience, reverence, discipline, and self-respect
The Abigail's Women's Project Global
Rev. Sowale identified the necessity for holistic support for families and mothers involved with the Brigade Youth Program. Inspired by the resilience, courage, and love of his mother, Abigail Adefuye Sowale, he envisioned this project as a sacred space for the affirmation of Women's Wisdom.
The Mirror LLC
Utilizing insights from the IEP School curriculum, Dr. Sowale designed the IESSP Curriculum to assist individuals in navigating their identity, educational, spiritual, and social paths.
Dr. Sowale pioneered the Theology of Uniqueness, developing a curriculum termed IESSP (Identity, Educational, Spiritual, and Social Plan), advocating that equality can exist without necessitating sameness. His aspiration is to bridge gaps between diverse viewpoints, encouraging individuals to embrace their unique stories as sacred and transformative.
